WHAT IS XIBER?
Direct fiber optic connections to multi dwelling units (MDUs) is called fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP), or fiber-to-the-home (FTTH). This means a fiber optic cable, carrying a TV/Internet bundle, runs directly to each individual unit. Broadband transmitted over fiber optic cable is much faster and allows for greater bandwidth than signals sent over copper wire or radio airwaves. FTTP is the fastest, most efficient way to be connected to the internet.
